Hey all:

We have a lot more pictures to post, however like I stated, I am not computer Savvy. So I will email anyone who ask.

There was one that I wanted to post about the gifts received.

Glenn and RJ did an outstanding job on secretly giving all of us either a Maytag or Frigidaire stain glass memorbilia for our collections. It is absoutly stunning. Thanks so much Guys.

Then in addition, we ended up with a demonstration of a New Hoover Constellation (Connie) by Austin Wilder. What a great peice.

Love,

Steve

How cool!

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing them, and its awesome to see Austin's shed and machines!
Venus: That stove is gorgeous!

Hi guys, I was going comment more and post a longer synopsis of events, but somehow it got deleted halfway through. :(

Will do that tomorrow afternoon, but first, here are some pictures!! Many thanks to RJ for the beautiful stained-glass signs...my vintage Frigidaire sign will look great in my bedroom window (for now at least)!!

Like I said, I'll cover the events ASAP, but for now I have a few more pictures! I was mostly washing and watching so I didn't get that many, but here they are!!

Looks like you guys had a great time! Wash-in's will take away the Winter blues,no matter where you live!

Thanks for the great photos Austin and Venus

Looks like fun!

Hey guys - its great to see yet another wash-in! Loved all the photos, and I love what you did with the place Austin! Your lighted signs are fantastic. I bet the eatin' was good - thanks for the photos guys.

Thanks everyone for sharing all the neat pictures, it is always so neat to put faces to names. Venus that range is just beautiful!! Sure wish that I could have been there, next time for sure. Terry

Looks like a good time was had by all! Makes me even more envious of you guys now :-)

Austin - I love your hair! I used to have hair like yours until my mum made me chop it off!

Mini now.....next time a Maxi!

YIKES! I got the "shear look" thing all wrong! My right hand should have been over my left and covering my moustache (like Toggle's Greek model)! Thank heavens the Frigidaire RCI is photogenic (unlike moi). Where's CNN's big black "X" when I need it! ;-)

You guys are too kind! The next wash-in will be bigger and better! Both sheds will be finished too! Bring on the fajitas, margueritas, and - of course - great people!

Venus - who will never grace the cover of Vogue

Mini Convention

I'm still in awe of this past weekend. The 5th Dimension records, the vintage record player, the Frankenmore, WO-65II, 1-18, Dual Tumble, F&P set, and the GE Portable.

The moon was definitely in the seventh house. Venus and Mars were alright that night.

Videos to come. I have to get a Firewire cable for my camera and fix my Adobe Premiere Elements so I can finish the DVD and make some cool music videos.

Thanks much for posting your stories and all the great pictures! I'm sure it'll be a weekend everyone remembers.

Austin--- I checked out the pics of your machines in action and saw the ones of the front loading Westinghouse. Has the milky-colored plastic ring around the front of the tub ever popped out of place? I'd completely forgotten about this until I saw the closeup photos. Something rubbed against that plastic piece on my machine and wore a groove in it. That allowed the thing to pop off occasionally. It would fall into the tub and the clothes would get all entangled in it. Rather than replace the plastic thingy, I bought a first issue, 1996 FrigiLux FL'er. I miss the tub light in the White-Westinghouse machines.
