I appreciate all the suggestions from Forum members in pointing me in the right directions to find replacement parts for my 1972 KDS-17 Kitchen Aid/Hobart dishwasher. I was able to locate a brand new program switch actuator on EBay through PFE Electronics and I purchased a brand-new-in-the-box timer from Midwest Timer. The repairman was out today and installed both, and my dishwasher is (almost) good as new! Thanks again to everyone who responded to my questions.
