For inspiring me to get a Sunbeam Carousel Rotisserie. Terry prepared a wonderful rotisserie chicken for Tania and me in Florida and then I just had to get one. Here she is, just arrived. With the original box and instruction manual.

Another Shot

She looks like she has only been used once. What a beauty. We will definitely have to try it out when you guys are here in April.

The Sunbeam Collection is Growing

The coffee pot is from the collection of Terry Lattz. I had one but it didn't work properly. Terry took one out of his collection and the group fixed it in Florida. Terry gave it to me. Thanks Terry! Yikes! Another obsession. The toaster I bought new in the 70's. Still one of the best toasters ever made in my humble opinion.

Fred,

My wife & I still use her parents T-20? Sunbeam toaster that they purchased new in 1956 as our daily driver. It's like the old Timex commercials, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. Even though it's only a 2 slice toaster, I can make 6 slices of toast in the Sunbeam before our 2yr. old Toastmaster 4 slice can even get the bread warm.

Fred I am so glad that you were able to find the Carousel Rotisserie!!! YAY They are fun to use and really easy to clean up. It really looks like you have an almost brand new one there. Amazing that they still had the orginal box. I bought the one I have for my Mom "yah right" for Christmas one year after seeing it demonstrated at Marshall Fields in Park Forest, IL. There are going to be some great meals coming out of that beauty!!! Terry

Waffle Baker

Fred, speak of the devil! Here's mine. Just like mom's, except hers had a cloth cord. She used to put it on the dining room table and just kept those waffles coming for breakfast without running to the kitchen! With 5 kids, she knew the production line method of cooking.

Well Fred, I'm glad you marched *right* down to the Marshall Field store in Park Forest, IL and got your very own Sunbeam Carousel Rotisserie, new in box. I'll have to determine from whom I'll purchase here: Bullocks, May Company, or J.W. Robinson. Decisions, decisions...

I too have that wonderful waffle baker and a couple of the Coffeemasters (and percolators!) and the toaster, mine being a T35.

You need...

A fabulous bee-hive Osterizer to go with all of your chrome Sunbeams...

Anyone else agree??

:-)

Fred I have to agree, a fabulous bee-hive blender is a must have for the grouping!! ( Also ducking and running)

Here's the earlier Sunbeam blender on the right. It has an almost identical jar to the one that attaches to the Mixmasters but except for the bottom rim being different so they are not interchangeable.

I just have to ask, how do you think this Sunbeam compare with Ron Popeil's Showtime? It seems that one side of the chicken might turn out dry.

I also have the Showtime Rotisserie and it does chicken equally as well but I think the skin gets a little crisper in the Sunbeam. The Showtime is great for larger items though. I have done two small chickens in the Sunbeam with good luck. I have never noticed that one side turns out dry though.

Sunbeam Waffle Iron

I've got one of the Sunbeam waffle irons and I have a problem with the thermostat, anyone know how to adjust it? I have to turn the control all the way to 5 to get it to heat up enough. We used to set it at "3" and get perfect waffles.
