The Viking

Disposer and two Viking warming ovens....Please note the floor in the living room and dining room have not been restored as of yet. I am told that should be the last thing before final painting....

Congrats on the new kitchen

That's going to be one heck of a kitchen. Congrats! Can't wait to see the pictures when it's in place.

Here's the

freezer and bar wine/fridge for upstairs in the main kitchen. The only thing that didn't arrive is the KitchenAid DishDrawer. (I know, I know, but I figure it should at least be able to wash bar ware.....hopefully) I'm also thinking about changing it out to the Kenmore DishDrawer but can't find the model that will accept integrated panels. Lovely!!

Those are lovely, Mark!! What a stunning kitchen you're going to have! I can't wait to see after-pics--I'll keep my fingers crossed that the cabinets make haste.

Does anyone else get a kick out of the irony of the Thermador slogan? :-)

What a fun delivery - I would definitely answer the door if those showed up on my stoop!

What Miele dishwasher model did you choose, Mark? Both with the cutlery tray?

Keep the pics coming as the progress continues - we all love our own HGTV saga from one of our own!

Hi Greg!

The dishwashers are model G2 670 SCVI. Both have those dreadful cutlery trays and are the Incognito models. All of the appliances will integrate into the cabinets and hopefully won't even be seen! I got these machines because they are extremely quiet and not because of washability. I have been using the same models in the Roanoke house for the past two years and have gotten used to the fact that they don't wash that well.....but they are just about silent in opperation. Mark

Hi Mark. Can't wait to see everything out the boxes and installed. I am sure it is exciting. Looking forward to more pictures.

Yay for new appliance deliveries. Can't wait to see it all in place. Other than the "new" on the market induction tops the only time I ever saw one operate was way back in the early 70's was it when GE brought them out. It's a little foggy because I was only 3 or 4 at the time LOL but I do remember it boiling a pot of water on a paper towel and a Kraft Caramel sitting beside the pot undisturbed minding it's own business.
I'm surprised though you don't think the Mieles are that great a dw? I thought ours cleaned excellent and I want another one unfortunately the one I live with, the one who has zero interest in appliances would have a fit if I changed the KA out for no good reason. Then again he might not even notice if I do it while he's away.

What a kitcheb.. But wheres the Lady Kenmore? LoL... Great stuffcan't wait to see then end

I would get GE Tall Tubs for dishwashers (with SS insides), a Jenn aireGas cooktop w/grill, and a Smooth top with dual zone burner . Dual miele ovens, trash compactor of unkown brand, and of course the Sub Zeros, and a c.. For my little butlars pantry would have a set of dish drawers, fridge/freezer in a drawer, microwave in a drawer, warming drawer and a 1 burner induction top.. Disposers would be 1 hp kenmores i think.
