I wanted to pick it up today while I was at Costco but I decided to wait a little bit because of school.

Saw it at Sam's Club in Mankato, MN, today. It's selling quite well from what I've heard. Looking forward to the remastered Beatles CDs.

Great vintage Beatles singles you have, there. That classic Capitol records label is pretty trippy when you watch it spin around on the turntable.

Have fun with it, Jason! Try to get at least a little sleep this weekend, LOL.

Over the weekend MTV has been playing Beatle videos and Beatle Movies. I watched the movies and they were kind of quaint in a way. When they first came out I saw them, but never again. Now that I have seen them again I wondered what all the excitement was all about. A Hard Day's Night is basically the Beatles acting silly. I really liked the movies when they came out in the mid 60's, but now they are so dated.
It looks like they were having fun making it, more fun than the audience had watching it.
But times have changed and meanings change with the passage of time. I still do love the Beatles music.

They're also coming out with the MONO mixes on CDs (that "I Am The Walrus" 45 I have showing is mono but it's very much worn out.

Yep, went to go check out the mono mixes, they are only available in the box set, and there are NONE in the entire youngstown are. Not that I have $285 to spend on a box set anyway, but I have heard that the mono mixes are amazing.
