I've gotta give a shout-out to my 1994 Geo Prizm (which is a rebadged Toyota Corolla). It has over 230,000 miles on it, and I've spent very, very little on repairs over these 15 years. I drive it 75 mph on the highway and it still isn't burning oil. I usually get around 38 mpg. If I reduce highway speed to 60 mph, I get 40 mpg.
I've spent less on repairs for the Prizm than I any other car I've owned (an Oldsmobile, a couple of Chevrolets, and a Ford).
