Very pretty machine. Somehow this introverted design reminds me of the also rather introverted design of the 1956 Unimatic.

Once again sorry for the deleted posts, had to get the video correct!
Here is the virgin load in the 1956 GE, 11 minutes of wash action so go get some popcorn! Starts with spin after hot wash, you get to see most of the spin cycle, rinse fill, rinse, final spin dry coast. enjoy kiddies.
The '56 really balls up the lint unlike the 1960, so this ball is from the wash and I'm gonna keep it there to see how large I can get it!! Stay tuned.
Love the creeks this machine makes, just like my moms!

Real nice GE Jon - I like the video. I am surprised it didn't have a spray rinse or a overflow being it is a solid tub. Or did I miss something?

Pete, no spray rinses in solid tub machines, the overflow is from the filter flo system. This is a real GE.......dux and runs...

Great video Jon! It's interesting how some of the GE's empty the whole basket completely before the suds-kill stop and some don't.

Thanks for the video of your beautiful washer. It brings back memories....my friends family had that washer and it was always going when we were playing in the basement in the winter. Oh...and happy birthday, Jon!!!
