Digital camerea not needed. Use conventional film camera, have pictures put on disc when developed. They can then be viewed and uploaded using computer. I've actually stopped getting prints, I just get the negatives and the CD. IF I really NEED prints for whatever reason, I just go back to store and have them made from the CD, or send in the negatives. If you have a decent printer, you could also make prints at home, but the paper is expensive and it's hard to get the prints just right. Cheaper just to have the store do it.

we're off to see the crusher

Thanks Jaune. My apologies all, but the machine was now whisked off by garbage collectors before I had a chance to get it over here. The neighbor down the steet, after a 30 yr. storage of this 1954 machine, said I could have it if I had a way to move it before the "junkers" came.

the owner pulled a boner

I know,it's sick.I asked her to hold it, but she said I'd have to beat the "garbage" men.And I've only personally seen three Bendix washers in my life so far that I can recall.

That is really too bad!Sorry to hear of a classic like tht going to the scrapper. May it R.I.P. and not come back as a WCI anything!

the beloved Bendix

Now a question:What is your honest opinion of the washing ability of the various Bendix FLs of that time with technical info to boot? BTW,I so would have LOVED to meet you all and have fun at the convention.Looks like it was a blast. And Robert, I honestly cannot get over the fact that you are 42.You TOTALLY look ALOT younger. What is your secret?Oil of Olay?
