Nice.

Those tall kitchen cabinets might actually be a good thing. You might be able to keep a 6 qt KA stand mixer under one of them. It's something like 18 inches high, needs a lot of space.

The cabinets also seem to be of decent quality. Have you considered simply painting them (white/cream) instead of replacing them? I'd look into that, especially if they are real wood/plywood instead of that gawd awful particle board that so many cheap modern kitchen cabinets are made of.

The cabinets are a little darker than those in my '70's kitchen. Somehow I think they are crying out for avocado appliances, though. A modern bronze would probably fit as well.

GE PotScrubber

I have in front of me the July 17 1979 Woman's Day magazine.
There is a two page spread of your dishwasher.
It has a quote from Mrs Brenda Dixon from Dallas Texas.
She says,
"I was skeptical.I didn't think my Potscrubber 111 dishwasher would get off dried bbq sauce."
"It is the best dishwasher I've ever had".
The quote from GE is,
Thank you, Mrs.Dixon.In fact, the Potscrubber 111 dishwasher is the best Generial Electric has ever made.It holds more dishes, cleans them better than ever before and runs quietly too.The Potscrubber 111 dishwasher also uses less hot water, to save you money, and has a special energy saving button to save even more.

That is a nice house. Thank you for sharing those pictures. I don't venture into this forum much, but since I had not seen any posts from you in the Imperial Forum lately, I was beginning to wonder what happened to you. With the move and all the "fun" that goes along with it, you obviously have had a lot to juggle. I'm glad you are posting again.

I hope you put the garage in order for your washers very soon. You must be chomping at the bit to hook up that Kenmore 800.

Have a good one,
James
