8 lbs load

That threw me to LGs TurboWash all of the sudden. They advertise the 5.7ft³ with TurboWash, however, the tests about it are done with an "average" 8 pound load. Not that 8 pounds is an unusual load size, but for a washer that big it certanly should be nothing.

Who is that guy taking the video?  Can't believe Sears let he walk through ike that without someone stopping him.  I wonder which is better--agipeller or impeller style for actual cleaning.

Besides, I've recorded about 30 minutes of video in Home Depot, Sears and Best Buy's appliance section - no one cared.

Some of the washers in that Sears video look like they have LED lights reflecting in the tub. Do some of these have tub lights? It would be cool if they did.

I got to see these models in person for the first time today. I will admit, the agipeller on the Whirlpool machine looked more promising than the smaller version on the Amana's. I still wish we had a video of somebody doing a larger load in one of these to see how it does.

I came so close to buying one of these when I got my Kenmore 28102! I really like the new Kenmore agipeller. Pretty cool!

Very nice, I like it! The Kenmore TOL has the SS tub and a white/blue agi-thingy with corkscrew on it even. Sweet.

I'd like to see it on a Normal cycle with that full load of clothes. They'd probably rollover better in all honesty. They moved in the Deep Wash but you could tell they were floating too much to be pushed up and out by the impeller vanes.

Dumb Question

What's the big deal about walking through the appliance section of a store recording like he did? Am I missing something? Maybe I am? Is it supposed to be secretive or something?

This looks like a decent top loader that uses a bit more water than any He TL I have seen yet.  I would like to see how this works with a full load, unless that is as full as you are supposed to use it.

It's a shame that we have seen washers like these, and now we have the "removable agitator", which is a stupid design. It will always use that stupid low water level unless you select a stupid deep fill which is still stupid. It never fills up completely. Most consumers are too stupid.
