Sweet Aire
Terry,
First I want to tell that I am so excited about seeing you in just a few weeks! Yea! Yea! Yea! Yea! In case you don't know, I think you are really wonderful so I am thrilled that we will have some time at Ida's.
RE: the sweet aire fill hole, yes, the 510 does have it but when Kirby did the restoration, they removed the red plastic fill hole plug and replaced it with a metal screw. Alas, like many things that have changed and gone by, the "Sweet Aire" is one of them. The sani-emptor did have the cotton pad that fit under the vented metal panel were the sweet aire liquid would have been dropped in.
I guess we have to rely on scented chips or the some other form of air freshner for our old Kirby's unless we save those parts from a time gone by.
Thanks for your post darling and I look forward to seeing you soon!
