I do something that none of these dishwashing liquid ads show. Pans to be hand washed have some detergent squirted into them and then are filled with hot water so they soak either while I am eating or while other things are being cleaned. By the time I get to them, they have practically washed themselves.
I've watched the entire series of 'The Lucy Show' and 'Here's Lucy' on Hulu. Unfortunately, the do not include the original commercials. Bummer!
Aside: Have been watching 'The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show' on YouTube and it does include the integrated commercials; usually for Carnation Evaporated Milk.

I remember these Burns and Allen shows from the first time around, now thats dating myself, LOL. I recall that Gracie used to do the Carnation commercials. Often times Blance, (Bea Benaderet) would join her in the kitchen for these spots. Back in the early days of TV the shows stars commonly did the commercials. Anybody here remember how on the Beverly Hillbillies that Granny used to do the Winston commercials? She would open the kitchen cupboards and they would be packed tightly with cartons of Winstons, while she chirped that "Winston Tastes Good Like a Cigerette Should".

I never cared for that show, but I liked the white Christmas Tree in the VIM commercial.
Dayum, 4 Vim for a load of laundry. Musta been for a top loader. There were a lot of coupons for Slavo and Vim. Mom took advantage of them and bought a lot. That was when we had the WH fl so only a half dose was needed.
