GREAT COLLECTION

I love seeing all the Australian and Canadian versions of washers & dryers that we love. I would love to see these in person if I ever get a chance to visit Australia again, I hope when we do our big international wash-in in about two years you may be able to come.

Leon, what a beautiful display you have there!! Love the colors you used and also all of the ads and vintage detergents you have displayed!! A wonderful playroom for your collection. Looks like you are ready to host an international wash-in!! Thanks for sharing with us.

puts mine to shame

Wow Leon

what an excellent clean and tidy layout, looks like a showroom.......and what wonderful machines british machines seem so understated and dull by comparison.

It is an excellent job well done.

BTW My garage is not mine, but i did do plumbing in there for 8 machines 4 aside.
A mixture of 40mm plastic drain piping for the outlets and a garden hose adaptor for the water inlets.

I surprised you can still squeeze the car in! Great looking collection though, the crown-jewels are flanked by a lot of beauties. That 58 Simpson is still one of my favorites. It's really in nice condition.

Perhaps we could have an "Around the World in 80 Washers" tour?

Thank you

Hi Leon

What a great job that you have done. Congrats to you. Thank you for bringing back so many memories from my childhood. Look forward to a possible wash-in in the future???? (thank goodness Brisbane does not have water restrictions)

Best regards Bruce

"The car still fits in the garage! (just)"

And you even had the bravery to back it in!

Get rid of the vehicle, and you'll have space for several more washers!

Your garage/laundry room looks very good!

Awesome display

What an awesome display Leon, you have done a great job of fitting them all in, your garage looks just like an appliance showroom floor,(or what an appliance showroom floor should look like).
Thanks for bringing back a lot of my early memories too, in particular your detergent collection, who could forget Shendelle Franklin as the Fab lady in those commercials for Lemon charged Fab,and the husband who chortled to the world that he was foreman material in his whiter than white overalls and his wife who said it was because of her Ajax and its patented "blue beads of bleach.",(aka sodium perborate.)
True blue Spree,"value for money clean".
Now I am really beginning to show my age I think.
Well done again Leon and thak you for sharing, now all you need is to get a Hoovermatic to squeeze in there.
Cheers.
Steve.
