Check out this video - it was VERY reminiscent of yours truly. I liked Legos in the washer better though because they would disappear, clunk around under the surface, and they reappear at some un-predictable place....

The duck on the agitator made me holler in laughter...so familiar!

LOL

That poor Maytag has seen better days, as far as appearances go. At least it still has a nice strong agitation.

i used to throw my star wars figures in and watch then pull
under then bob back up-also put one of those little green army
men into one of those clear snap together capsules that vending
machine prizes come in,then imagined what it would be like
riding in the capsule!
All this in a 1970 hotpoint.

Cute. I used to tear off a piece of the cardboard detergent box, fold it up and wedge it between lid and switch to defeat the switch. Worked every time.

That machine is sooooo shmootzy! It's unbelieveable how filthy----- people will allow a machine used for cleaning to get! AND look how filthy that wash-water is! I'd have to send that load back through for a double wash!

Cute kid. I'm glad to see the younger generation still taking an interest in mechanical things.
The first time I watched it I thought WOW, that 's a filthy ol' Maytag! Then I saw the water -- yuck! They need some damn suds in that thing! Some people don't know the first thing about washing properly! Lol, I wipe down the Frigidaire's every time I use them.

That tyke is definitely one of us! He'll undoubtedly discover AW.org at some point and feel he's struck gold (as I did when I first came across it).

And I'm with the others who commented on this: Clean up that poor washer!
