He's not the first guy to do this. It's been a good 20 years since a guy in California (I think) did the same thing, and I believe he got in trouble for it with the FAA.

I get dizzy 6 feet off the ground, I cannot envision going that high up. That was attempted by the "Mythbusters" and they couldn't seem to make a go of it. I can't even stand airplanes.

In an episode of Malcolm In the Middle, Reese gets religion and manages to get airborne in a lawn chair and party balloons, in an attempt to get closer to Heaven. He winds up crashing through the stained glass window in the pastor's office.

They cost a bit more, but you get to leave the flying to someone else. =)
