In a 1962 Good Housekeeping magazine I ran into an ad for a "MARQUETTE" brand refrigerator.
Standard stuff. Freezer on the bottom, 10 cubic foot refrigerator on the top. 1962 modern box.
The MARQUETTE IMPERIAL is the "Next best thing to a Supermarket in your kitchen!"
Now... I thought I've heard of everyone in the appliance world, but this one escaped me. This is not a department store brand. It is made by the Marquette Corporation, Minneapolis 14.
Question: Has anyone ever heard of this company? Googling doesn't help. Just curious...
