Common area for leaks on the left side usually has to do with the water injector assembly whether it's the injector sleeve (common), hoses (front or rear), deposits on the plastic nozzle, loose clamps, etc. Also check around the triangular tub cover seal when the machine goes into the spin cycle with a full tub of water. Also check around the water valve and hoses while filling.

Many machines of that age have pinholes in the outer tub.

well this is spitting rust and metal particles out the hoses

Also has a hard time in agitation and spin

I need to tighten the pump belt it is loose

can you refresh me on the steps on this

Pull the motor/carriage forward so the transmission belt is tight.

Pinch the pump belt together at the halfway point between the motor and pump pulleys, with the machine in normal position on the floor ... NOT tilted back.

The motor/carriage shouldn't move until 1/4" span on the belt-pinch.

Adjust the pump mount/position if necessary and re-check until proper tension is attained.

The pump belt is typically somewhat loose compared to the transmission belt.
