After it was all together the dryer ran quietly and dried well, but the electronic control would only shut off properly on the regular dry setting. After running it many loads it did not start working properly so I soldered all the wire terminals directly onto the little circuit board [ the terminals electrical connection to the board are often a problem on MT dryers as they age ] and SUCCESS it works perfectly, no new parts needed even the 1965 capacitor work perfectly.
It can now live at the museum for folks to enjoy, even thought like the matching washer it is a great looking appliance and works perfectly it is just not an outstanding dryer in performance, plus I an too cheap to pay to use an electrically heated dryer on a regular basis
