Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The truck

came from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, $24.99 a day on the weekend rate.
Fun to drive, but a bottomless pit for gas, and at $2.85 a gallon around here thats too much.

Robert & Austin: I hadn't really thought about collecting washers, and for the time being this Maytag is all I can squeeze in. Once I find a house with suitable space, I may add one more.
After the Maytag, my favorite would be a Frigidaire. Those are such cool machines!

Finally have time to read the forum.......no Austin the ss lint filter was not original to my washer....I saved it from an 806 i dragged home years ago. The 608s came with a turquoise plastic filter when it was new. Nate and I decided to "pimp my washer one night and put it in."

Looks like a lot of fun. I'm as green as the grass and tree's with envy, our grass is just now turning green and the leaves aren't even out on the lilacs yet.. groan.. but that's all gonna change in a couple of months and I'll be within 4 hrs snatching distance. Something bigger than a dodge ram might be in order.

The truck!

That's nothing, gas price wise.
I got given a 1993 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe for the summer. I call it the etcetera...get it? Huge 4.9 Northstar enginge. Premium fuel only. It hovers at 14 miles to the gallon. Premium fuel here in Seattle is $3.47 gallon. I get roughly 14 miles to the gallon. But a free car, insurance included..., can't be beat! I'm still on the first tank after 225 miles! Turn off the climate control and no "pedal to the metal" and it works.

I know wrong forum....
