Ok.. As every one who does follow me here knows i have been looking for a newer car for a while... I finally got one! Yeah! It's a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE 5-speed, 6-disc cd, a/c, cruise and power options.. Below is a pic and link to the dealer website. I was looking on there lot drooling as the finance manager was walking the lot.. We struck up a conversation and he offered to show me this corolla... 2 hours later i drove it off the lot for (yes) $12,295.. They had $12,195 in the car. $13,700 O.T.D with taxes and fees.. $500 down.. Yeah! This is how one should be able to buy a car. I doubt i would have even bought it if i had spoken to a salesperson as they all seemed very arrogant, as the finance guy was great... Plus i got it wayy cheaper.. Whooo! SOrry i am veyr happy about my car.. Now i have the mighty exploder and the mighty corolla.. I will post a better pic later

I love the Corolla! They are generally considered one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. I can attest to that with 205,000 miles on mine and hardly a trip to the repair shop in 13 years. (I am now knocking on wood til my knuckles bleed, LOL.)

How come i have 2 cars? I have always had two vehicles scince age 16.. I drive quite alot (usualy around the 35-40K mark yearly) so i don't wana kill one car. Also usualy i have had an SUV or Truck and a regualr car (corolla). Otherwise i can offer no other good offer as to why i have two cars..

Thats nifty whatcha did with the picture... I just took a quick pic last night at the grocery store..

This car has BY far the most comfortable seats I have ever experianced in a vehicle. Also it took $18 too fill it up from near empty today ($2.09 a gallon)... The exploders down fall is that it gets 20 mpgs v.s. 35 m.p.gs witht eh corroder

Yes the Corroder it is! I was trying to think of a nifty name and thats it.. I have the Exploder and the Corroder!

you made a VERY smart move on the Corolla

My first car was a '75 Corolla. My 'stick shiftin granny' gave it to me after she went back to an Oldsmobile. Toyotas just won't die! Tho' they have gotten expensive! The first time I was EVER able to afford a Toyota was 4 years ago when I bought my Tundra pickup. I'm looking forward to being one of those guys on the commercials who jumps up in the air when his truck hits 200,000. I just can't kill this thing!

Dad bought a then new 87 Corolla and he and mom drove back and forth across the US and Canada in that thing until 92 when he bought a new Accord. My sister took that Corolla in 92 and drove it for about 10 more years and passed it on to her daughter who drove it a couple of more year until 04 or thereabouts when she could afford a new car. It went back to my sisters and my BIL was still using it to drive to work up until last year when he gave it to some friend who had need of a car. Dad's 92 Accord is still in the family as well... he died in 93 and my other sister now has it still on the road

Hell, between Helen, my parents and I we have 5 cars

1. Ford F150 pickup
2. Toyota Prius
3. Ford Aerostar van
4. VW Beetle
5. (Helen) Pontiac Grand Prix.

Quite possibly, the Beetle and the Gran Prix goes and another Prius might grace our driveway.

And a Garmin Streetpilot c550 (which is MINE of course)

Time to slim down, ya think?

You can never have enough cars..
Between Grams, Gramps and my self we currently have:
Ford Ranger (for sale)
3 Ford Explorers
Toyota Corolla
Ford F-150
