I am a Sub-Zero Junkie!

When I moved back to Chicago, I just had to have another Sub-Zero. Had the kitchen remodeled just to have one put in. They are great refrigerators. Once you have one, you'll never have anything else. Unfortunately, my 42" 642 has an achilles heel - its icemaker. It has been repaired or replaced three times now. Still love it though.

Didn't come across an MSRP anywhere...about $8000? For that amount of money, why doesn't anyone make something like this in white porcelain with genuine chrome hinges and handles? I would think an option like that would sell fairly well...

I love my 2 1986 550's! They keep on working and it is true they do keep things fresh alot longer than any other fridge I ever used!

They are great products. I have had them in my last 3 houses. Right now I have the 48" 532 in this house. You just need to keep the condenser coils clean and they will go forever. For the size they draw very little power compared to regular boxes.
