The catch was that I had to drive nearly 70 miles each way to pick them up and I had to lift both the washer and dryer about 4 feet in the air to clear a poorly placed gas line in the seller's basement, and then up 4-5 steps up the bulkhead (the seller's boyfriend helped me with the removal, thankfully).
The ad was up for over three weeks and no one showed any interest and they were going to take them to the dump this weekend! I got there just in time.
The washer is a A712 Series 10 with the serial number of 101821 XV, it has the orbital transmission and the corresponding agitator.
The dryer is a DE713 with the serial number of 107129 XV
The unfortunate part is that this set lived in a damp basement and there's some rust on the cabinets on both. I'm not sure what my plans are for this set yet. I may just pull the motor+wiring+control panel from the A712 and convert my A512 into an A712.
