The norge and the pump and the drain hose

Is there a good way to tell where a leak is

The pump drain hose connection is leaking I think

But I have the clamp tight as can be

Do not want to break the pump

going to get a hose

Also can i get a 90 degree elbow to hook onto the pump and drain hose to hook to that

It is in the basement laundry studio so leaks are not a problem

is this around 1968-82 era norge? those pumps were very prone to debris damage-may have to plumb in the later pump(that i think mounts the same,but hose connections are different...)

...I did an Ebay flyby,and there were several Norge pumps of this era.

I'm going to remove the rust on this with a wire brush

removed rust

cleaned thoroughly

assembled to this point

plugged in

And listened to the absolute quiet

Let peace reign on the laundry room now

Oh yeah the pump may have been leaking

But the outlet was egg shaped so it world not clamp right

I got the drain problem fixed

I shortened the drain hose so it drains faster

And oh yes it was the right pump

now to take care of the squeak
