If he does get to be the host, you can be certain that TPIR will have several million more viewers watching on a daily basis. Ratings will go up, and other things.

Eye Guess they're doing a ton of market research and focusing a lot of Concentration on this. Well all of you potential hosts, It Could Be You who will Strike it Rich with this new hosting job. Oh My Word, I think I'm in serious Jeopardy of getting carried away . . . Bottom line is, Who Do You Trust to do justice to Barker's Legacy? THAT is the $64,000 Question.

To Tell the Truth, I'm not much of a TPIR fan. I suppose replacing Barker could end up being a case of Win Lose or Draw in the court of public opinion. If they allow viewers to vote and people don't like the new host's performance, all I could say about that is, You Asked For It. CBS execs, rest assured that whomever you choose they will not be Yours for a Song. And I think Mario Lopez is more appropriate for a game show that puts a new spin on an old name: Queen for Days.
