OK not that queen, and now that I have your attention, check out my progress on combining two 1957 Speed Queens into one. Here is the restored unit with the cabinet and outer tub removed, ready for testing. I sure hope I remembered to bolt the tub down securely, otherwise we might have some chipped pink porcelain.

Fun seeing the interesting damper system and all of the components, and can't wait until you have it running again. I notice a shiny new fluid drive and pump, but what other sort of work/replacement was involved?

I never knew that fluid drive turned!! I thought just the gut inside turned. But ofcourse out East here we have never seen any of these machines.

Amazing to me that new AmanaTags looks very similar in engineering.

Austin, here is the work that has been done so far:

Brand NOS (new old stock) Fluid Drive Assembly
Brand NOS Pump
Brand NOS Center Post and Agitator Bearing
Brand NOS Agitator Shaft
Brand New Spin Bearings
Brand New Cogged Drive Belts
Removed 600 rpm spin pulley and replaced with 700rpm Coin-op
Cleaned and tightened supsension snubbers, pads and springs
Cleaned motor
