Here are some white clothes, washed on Warm Wash, that I would ordinarily do on a Slow Wash/Fast Spin, done on Fast Wash/Fast Spin:

(Think of this being a Single-Speed machine... --And hope they turn out good...)

there are times you need the vigorous wash action of low water levels with the high speed agitation....

to really scrub some stains......

this has worked for me many times....either hot water and bleach......or a heavy dose of detergent and color safe bleach.....either one, great for things like socks or cleaning cloths....

the Electronic models wont allow high speed agitation with lower water levels...it defaults to low or medium....

pros and cons for things like that....

I think those letters were an attempt at correlating that machines cycles to the older alphabet washers. Those letters match what would have been the cycle selections in the older machines.

Martin, just a minor mod on the Electronic Kenmore speed control.

Here in the manual, the agitation speed adjust according to water level except Heavy Duty and Extra Delicate.

High-Medium is normal agitation speed.

Medium low-Low is slow agitation speed.

I noticed in that manual that you can't select a warm rinse with a hot wash too. Easy way around that though. Select a warm wash and rinse turn off the cold faucet for the wash fill.
