My old magic chef stove has been a god one ,I got it used in 1987 from a very special person

I like that backsplash! A lot of the older gas stoves didn't have much design pizzaz, but that is very cool. Love the sleek clock and simple lines.

I had not seen brands other than Caloric with what I call the horizontal "grease catcher" shelf on which are mounted the control knobs.

IIRC Magic Chef uniburners (a one-piece assembly with two burners) goes back to at least the mid 50's. I used to clean my uniburners in the DW and bake them dry in the oven so as not to rust the insides.

Does this stove have a modulating size (variable heat-output) oven-burner flame (i.e. not on-and-off cycling)?

I too, like the backsplash and the large analog clock.
That soap dish- we had one just like that only it was pink. I had forgot all about it.
