I recently uncovered the service manual to the very first Sears Kenmore Combination Washer-Dryer. I just added it to the Ephemera Library if anyone would like to download a copy.

Sections include: installation, servicing, specifications and cycle chart.

Also included is a 9 page introduction to the new 1957 Lady Kenmore Top-Loading Automatic Washer, Dryer and Wringer Washer in the back of the manual.

Where's the one without the window?

I agree with Tom.  I vaguely remember seeing one of those in the Museum in 2002 that didn't have the window--i.e. the lower end model.  I remember it struck me such that I thought it was just a dryer until I studied the panel and realized it was a windowless combo.
