Wow! I don't think there are any words left to describe how wonderful the video is. The advancing dials part was absolutely inspired!

We sure are a lucky group to have a webmaster like you!

Watching at the Feet of the Master

Robert,
You leave me breathless and wanting more. You are illusive enough to be an enigma and avaiable enough to be a hero. I am gobsmacked by your expertise. I will watch it again and again and feel my soul warmed.

Brilliant!

I've often wondered when that classic "I Love Lucy" episode, "Never Do Business with Friends," would make its way to this marvelous site. Leave it to Robert to make it happen seamlessly, alongside a wonderful stroll down Memory Lane, appliance style. Excellent!

fab video what was the front loader machine that wasn't the westinghouse or the bendix. Silver frame?

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Wow I didn't expect quite this response. I was on vacation last week so I entertained myself with the video camera.

I think I managed to name most but the one at 2.00 mins in, Black Agi with wings, green clothes guard and indexing tub, the one before the AMP??
That's the Pig Washer Mike, its the 1966 Franklin transmission Wizard.

Eugene this is your Frigidaire washer in it's earlier life.

Did Lucy have an Apex bounce-o-matic??
Hi Ross, no that was a Launderall clone called the Horton.

Did Jason teach you??????
You got that right Steve, I learned from the best.

What a gift to come home from school to

It's so perfect. Loved the way the swish of stroke in the Norge 18 matches perfectly with the instrumentation in the song.

Like Mike, I 've never seen that green webbed machine--is it a Gibson?

And thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing my beloved grandmother's Fridgidaire Pulsamatic which I've seen in your basement but never working.

Here's to you Robert, the Angel in our midst.
