hmmmmmmmmmmm.
.........seems like it's just rolling everything into knots......would be interesting to see the finished load and how much untangling you have to do......

No Untangling Required
Hi Mark,
The Dyson does not tangle at all not a single item large or small ever tangles. The Dyson is also very gentle on the laundry it’s wool program is approved by Woolmark and uses the contra rotation to gently clean pure wool garments; the Hand Wash program also uses the contra rotation to gently and safely wash hand wash only garments.

Very Complex Construction.
Dyson Washer has a very complex mechanical construction when compared with a normal FL. During wash phase, one half of the drum is rotating in one direction and the other half is rotating in the opposite direction.
Would this opposite rotation stretch and twist the clothing, like making a rope?
Would it be as gentle as a normal FL?

Yes the Dyson is a very advanced machine and I agree that you would think that the contra rotation would damage the laundry however it does not. Dyson thoroughly tested the contra rotator and designed it to last a minimum of 20 years, during testing thousands of test washes were carried out with all types of fabrics to ensure total safety for the laundry. The contra rotator is very gentle on all my laundry. In the 4 years I have owned and enjoyed the Dyson it has never damaged or tangled any of my laundry including wool and hand wash only garments.
