There is nothing like the fresh scent of clothing, dried outdoors

I’m running a huge load of towels in the super capacity whirlpool built dryer outdoors. I love it when the temperature and humidity are just right and you see clouds of steam from the dryer exhaust. It’s about 40°F here this morning was sitting in the hot tub watching the clouds of steam billow out.

This is the super capacity gas whirlpool dryer with modulating burner running at 25,000 BTUs, it makes short work of clothing especially after they come out of the KitchenAid pro line whirlpool duet clone washer spun at 1200 RPMs

Actually, I am waiting for the rinse to finish and I have a load to dry on the clothesline as our temps are supposed to hit 70 again today and tomorrow. Probably until next spring my Maytag dryer will be spewing steam outside for every load.

Clothslines are not allowed by the HOA rules in the area I live in now.My old house had a clothsline but didn't use it-too many squirrels and birds there.

I love towels dried in the line. I like them scratchy and they dry better. But I don't have a line. My mother finally took hers down a few years ago too because it's simply more convenient to put everything in the gas dryer.

Its a hot day in Michigan today. just did a load in my Kenmore and it’s all hanging outside to dry. Then I’ll do a quick air tumble once dry to get the lint & pet hair off and fluff the laundry. There is nothing quite like naturally air drying laundry in the sun!!
