So, when my Mom died and Rich and I were sleeping on the pull-out in the livingroom that night, my brother kicked the bed in the AM and asked if I was trying to give my father another heart attack. He was obviously referring to the fact that Rich and I were in the same bed.<P>
BACKSTORY: I went down to visit my parents in PA on my motorcycle a couple of years before I met Rich. It was a surprize visit, and they didn't know I got my M license. My father borrowed a neighbor's bike and took me on a tour of the town. He had a heart attack later that night (coincidentally). I didn't know it then, but my bro blamed me.
Fast forward to last year when my Dad died. His sister, my Aunt Linda, and her three kids, were there. The kids were brats the last time I saw them, about 20 years ago. I expected a chore-of-a-time getting through talking to them. Despite the horrible circumstances, we got along great, they loved Rich, and I received a belated Christmas card from one of them today (wrong address and took a long time for the whole trip).
My cousin Tara now has a tee shirt business and I didn't know she was as cool as she was when I saw her a year ago. I'm including a link for her site below because I think you may like some of the slogans on the demo shirts!
I guess the whole reason for posting this is to let some folks know that people are not always who you think they are, especially if you have pre-conceived notions of who they may be based on previous contact... family or not!!!
