I just wanted to take a moment and thank this list for something.
Two things happened today to remind me of the generosity of this list last February, when I got my centre-dial Maytags. First, I ran some laundry, and was grateful I have such nice machines. Second, I was reminded that I still haven't found a set of manuals for them, so I did some Googling. Didn't find the manuals (again!), but I did find the AW.org threads from when I got my machines. Looking at them today, it seems like I had a question about every five minutes.
Every question was answered, no one treated even the dumbest newbie question like it (or I) was stupid. KennyG found out I needed a pushbutton for my washer, and sent it to me; he wouldn't accept payment.
So, credit where credit is due- my nice shiny 'Tags that do such a great job are due in large measure to all the good advice and solid help I received here last year. Thanks again, guys.
