Hi Lewis I was sure it was made in Germany, I’m not sure what the cycling is like. I used it quite a few times when I first had it up there 37 years ago.

I’ll have to take a look at it. It may be a blown capacitor before I recycle it since it was a 50 cycle model. It always tumbled a little too fast for really effective washing fill level is high enough that still washed the clothes around pretty well.

Me too! We have a ca. 1995 Whirlpool 12k btu still in the box that we used just 2 years in MD, USA made, weighs a ton and all metal, wonder if it's as good as that 1962 Coldspot?

Shoulda used the 1:18 instead of that lil' German thing! LOL
