I don't think he was being serious. Look at some of the references he makes. My gaydar was pinging while watching and listening to him too, which lends credence to my theory that he was being "ironic".

Keith -

This should be in the 'Super' forum, but my take on the guy's video is not that he's a jerk. The guy's video is a farce, but I think this was done on purpose.

Even if he feels that way, we have to deal with what people want to say, not sensor them.

Hi Keith,

Have a look at the definition of Satire.

Its something that americans dont always get, but is the backbone of British and Aussie humour.

It makes the clever point that banning gay marriage is absurd, because if its wrong and unnatural, then so is instant oatmeal, polyester, eyeglasses and birthcontrol amongst other things.

The script that they're using seems to be common because there are lots of other youtube videos using the same words.

Try listening to the words rather than just reading the title.

Don't flag anything, unless it makes you literally hurl from blood and gore.

Can't listen at work, but I'm guessing a major bottom and doesn't know it yet. Or a top that has been pounding his cousin Vinny and feels guilty. Tighter and smells just as bad as the promised land.

If he is a hater, he needs to be careful! G-d don't like ugly and his kid may turn out to be a major tranny with issues.

Yup, Satire - and pretty darn good.

He's a stitch - played it "straight" (smile) all the way through. Five stars.

Someone sent this to me a while back. It is satire at its best.

IT'S a JOKE!

Keith dear:

If nothing else gave that away as sarcastic/sardonic humor and/or satire, this should have.

As he was waving the American flag he said....
In a theocracy such as ours, only one religion is permitted............

Although we may be on that path now, it is tenchnically not so yet..... especially north of the Mason-Dixon line............ Oh HUSH my dixie friends. You know I luvs yas!

c'mon it is CERTAINLY satire

"Hanging around gay people makes you gay, like hanging around tall people makes you tall!"???

I think its pretty sardonic and clever and I think he is kinda cute.

i agree

he's with us, it's obvious satire, he's also hot and i would do him! on top of my kdc-57 no less!

The following was sent to me by email about a year ago. Looks like he put the visual to it!

I wanted to send this to Chuck, but don't have his email address

Subject: interesting concept

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

I was pretty sure it couldn't have been 'the real thing.' Besides the fact that it was on non-adult YouTube, if she were enjoying IT as much as her noises let on, she wouldn't have stopped to answer her phone! That, or her 'subject' would have grabbed the phone and hurled it across the room!!!
