Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Let's go for a "spin"!

OK, it's down to the wire now. Got it all cleaned up, ran some water and didn't find any leaks. The buttons work, the lights work. Except for one little thing: The machine kept filling because the fill valve was stuck open. So I took off the back, removed the valve, cleaned it, exercised it a little, put it back together, cleaned the leads to the solenoid, and tested it. Problem fixed. Boy, they really made stuff to be repaired rather than replaced back then!

So, here are the results. This is probably the first load the machine has seen in years, maybe even a decade or more! So no bob load, at least for now. None the less, the results are quite good, and I'd say we made some progress!
