This Is How Your Market A Laundromat

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Delightful place. Put a quarter in the Bock and save twice that in the dryer. It's like a money dispenser. Yoohoo in the beverage vendor seals the deal.

Address

Is on their FB page.

3365 South Blvd
Columbus, Ohio.

(614) 706-4663

( but they would probably have more customers if it was on their webpage )

Bill, "cloths" is used instead of "clothes".

So, is this something that's going to branch out all over the country on a franchise basis like Polly Clean laundromats did back in the '60's?

It is a pretty blatant omission from a website to be missing the business address and telephone number. Then again the website isn't all that, although it would have been considered pretty well done in 1997...

Pretty cool that they have the Bock extractors from customer use though. A steal of a deal for a quarter a spin!

I'd love to see more photos of the inside, a virtual tour if you will. Even the FB page is sparse.

I presume the design of the web site was farmed out, but that doesn't excuse the omission of the address.  The business owner has final sign-off on the design.

It also seems to me that if the business owner can't spell, the site designer should catch that type of error.

Nowhere on the site is the location of the business listed..?

It's almost like the owners abandoned the website and moved to Facebook before the website was completed. The only page that seems to be completed is the one that is linked to by Laundress. The "About Us" Page is blank. On the "Testimonials" all get is a Error 404 - Page Not Found.

While the one page looks ok, it's not ready for prime time just yet. You have to remember that when you put something on the Internet, the whole world can see it.
How are we to know that someone from the UK hasn't found the website and thought it was in Manchester?

At first I just thought it was an abandoned website, but it does say Copyright 2014 on the bottom of the homepage.

Came Upon That Advert While Researching Bock Extractors

So was that amazed that this Laundromat owner has the things installed. Many laundromat websites condemned Bock extractors as "pieces of junk" that were not very reliable, difficult to service, a huge potential liability risk and totally not necessary with today's modern better extracting washing machines. That and or using hotter dryers/a bit longer cycle which was felt a better and safer alternative.

When you "Google" Bock extractors you get hit after hit of court cases. It seems the company was sued by several persons on a weekly basis on average. No wonder the things have vanished from Laundromats.
