What's up with the rust down the center of the oven botton, and the "slim" coils that appear to be orginals?

That's the size I want for the cottage. Looks pretty new for me though.( I'm a fifties kinda girl!) Besides, if I even said such a thing right now I'd probably be sleeping out there! Very cute stove. I'm not sure what year they went to the smaller coils.
