I have been seeing this ad all day today and wondering the same thing.

Well, some foods you want to slide around without browning like eggs, pasta, etc, whereas some foods you do want to brown.

Seems OK to me. But how many people are willing to spend their money for such specialized pans? And Cephalon is not cheap!
