I just found out our offer has been accepted and I`m blown away! :) Its located in Trenton Tn. in the historic district. I`ve dreamed about it every since it came on the market a few years ago. I took a pic of it about a month ago and showed it to my girlfriend, and she loved it so much she made 4 offers on it then we decided to try it together. ( I made the statment that it would be a nice home for a middle aged couple to start out) So I guess you know whats next! :)

What a beautiful house, what do you call that style Victorian Queen Anne ?
We're also deciding on whether to sell our place and move back east so I've been going through the on line listings daily. Actually I found one I quite liked, a Victorian up/down duplex so I'd have some rental income coming in, but I just called not an hour ago and after being on the market for months it just sold.

Thanks everone! It is a Queen Ann and was restored in 1983 by a local doctor and has had a lot of updates, electricle Heat and air, insulation. the rear of the house is supposed to have been another house from 1840. We will mostly be doing cleaning and wallpaper as its in pretty good shape. Heres the stairs.

My dad is in the hospital with Knee replacment sugery and I can`t wait for him and mom to see it. My girlfriend (fiance) spell is a decoretor and has done a buautiful old house and I cant wait to see what she will come up with for this one.Her girlfriend from Mass. came down two weeks ago and bought another victorian in a neighboring town so were doubly excited! Heres some of the stained glass at night.

Donnie,

What a GORGEOUS house!!!!

I'm very happy for you. I can't wait to see that beautiful parlor organ in there :-) I'm wondering...is there a porte cochere for the Harley?

Wow Pete, thats some house! Really beautiful! The dollhouse is in the kitchen and Christie loved it.This is looking from the front parlor into the 2nd parlor. the oak pocket doors are 8ft and if you can see the floor in the front is parquet made of cherry, walnut, red oak, white oak, and maple the upstairs trim is pine that has been faux grained to look oak. Thats a woodburning fireplace insert and blower in the front, It will probably go away. Several of the other 7 or 8 fireplaces have gas logs.

Donnies dream house

Just a wonderful example of a queen anne style victorian home Donnie! Congratulations to you on both counts!! From the photos, looks like all you may need is some decorating work. On an old house that is the best kind, and most fun and rewarding sort of work there to do.
Don't get lost rambling around in there! (:

What a find! I'm especially impressed that it's updated and not a fixer-upper; a friend of mine purchased a similar home in Minneapolis, but it was so run-down that it needed to be completely gutted and renovated, which proved to be a nightmare of a task.

It's absolutely gorgeous, drmitch; Congrats to you and your lucky fiance!
