Oh Gees!

the three of us should open a retro club.
I had so much on 8 track, still some on LP's. Muzique's "push push in the bush"
Keep on funkin by Gary's Gang, and I got My Mind Made up, you can get, anytime, tonight is fine. You gotta push it to me momma, slide it to me baby, if you want my money, you gotta make it good as honey.
The Paul Hardcastle song "19" was about Viet Nam, but when I was 19, when I had time off, my friends and I piled into my '74 Caprice sedan and it was off to Cedar Point listening to those old tunes.

@brucelenta

Collecting vinyl doesn't make you a weirdo, I also have a large collection of vinyl. The internet makes playing music easy and is convenient, but there's nothing like pulling that 45 of the song you want to listen to, and letting the turntable do it's thing, plus it beats streaming quality all to hell.

LOL, collecting alone doesn't make me a weirdo. I think the combination of all the things I have collected down through the years and other things make me the strange and unusual person I am. That is probably why I never went whole hearted into setting up washers and dryers like the museum some of the guys on here have done. It has never been my only interest or collection. I loved working on and using the various different types of machines and selling them and giving them away to friends who needed them. At the end, I was hanging on to several sets and machines that I knew I would probably never use or repair. That made no sense to me and I turned loose of them. Now I hope those that will treasure them for the piece of history they are have them and on occasion use them. I still do have my record and jukebox collection, but that too will probably go in time. I certainly cannot take it with me and when I am gone, no one I know of really wants them all. I would hate to think of all my collection I spent so much time and money on going to the thrift marts and such. That would be a tragedy to me.

Another song I heard - how do I keep from singing?

This artist recently passed away and now that I heard the song again, and I was singing it as I painted the basement and now my sisters wonder about me.

Oh, will not embed, try this:

Speaking of tunes.. The Sound of Silence..

I'm a little slow on the uptake and never a fan of remakes, however, I'm positively obsessed with this one.
