Ok fellow appliance "Frigidaire" lovers. I need to know if there is a place to find a replacement timer motor for my 1-18 washer. I have tried the locals to see what they had in thier boxes and came up with a slower one. I need the RPM speed of 3/5. The one I got was a 1/3 rpm. Way to slow for advancing.

Any clues on where to find this? It is a Kingston timer motor, the same as al lot of others. Are they out of business?

Any info is appreciated!

Give the folks at either Mid-West Timer (269) 849-2800 or T&E Timer (248) 543-1156. Maybe they can help you out.

ALSO-----you may have heard different opinions from other club members on these companies----- so I'll give you mine!

I have now used Mid-West three times with no problems. I used T&E recently and ended up sending the timer back for "tweaking" to make it right. I don't think there is a "silver bullet" for timer problems other than knowing how to "do it yorself"! -Steve
