Thrift store score!!

Wow - I can't believe I found this Corningware drip coffeepot at the thrift store in St-Hyacinthe today!  I'm not sure just how old it is, but I recognize that blue box.  The coffee pot has not been used - that sort of thing almost never turns up around here.   I hope this is a portent of good vintage finds to come, 'cuz I'm going to an estate auction in Sherbrooke this weekend.   Good thing Hubby's in Brazil... LOL

I used mine once. During an ice storm-related powerfailure, I used my Ronson butane burner to boil water and made the drip coffee. Then I went from neighbor to neighbor offering them a cup of hot coffee. Everybody had an electric stove, but they said that if anyone could make coffee during a power failure, it would be Tom.
