First off, I've never shopped or really collected anything(other than some music) at thrifts or Goodwills til last year. Aw.org members/non-members introduced me to a world I would have not expected to explore. Better, it helped me cope through a tough time by getting out to the thrifts. So here are some of the not so old things that were found recently and earlier. I'm sure these are in some of your collections, too.
Shown: Rival Model 911 Blender(~1967), Proctor-Silex Juicit J101W(had to disassemble and clean to get it working-grease turned to glue), a Diamond Airpot thermos-lined coffee/hot drink dispenser,a Rival Model 810A ice crusher(cheap compared to my Rival Ice-O-Matic), a Sunbeam Mixmaster Blender Custom 20, a Sears Console Air Filter(electronic with charcoal screen for filtering odors)Model 156.7330, an all wood cart, a Sunbeam Barometer/Temp/Humidity Instrument cluster on solid wood(got digital, but just a softy for the oldskook stuff), Zenith Integrated Stereos(IS-4041 /4081),Akai GX-230D(works!), an IBM Selectric Model 95(prints documents automatically in storage), sample of calculators...so on.
