questions questions...anyone out there know where i can get my hands of 2 items.. i need to find a speed changer for a laundromat or some magic fluid to put in the old one to bring it back to life.. then at least one mercury lid switch for a 54 maytag. my girl broke one of hers.. any leads would be great please let me know .. thanks so much chris

Chris for the Laundromat speed changer I have succesfully non-detergent used Hypod Gear Oil, which is available at auto parts stores. In my L-8 it cut the sound level by half and made the machine run much smoother. Make sure it says Hypod on the bottle.

As for the lid switch, why don't you just jump it out of the circuit?
