I bought a new one a few months ago and shortly it went to a new owner. I just ordered another new one - same machine. I was impressed with the first one and now am moving to an old folks apartment house with limited laundry facilities. So to put some real fun in washing clothing - the tiny Haier washer will fill that bill. Most owners over load them and meet a failure within 12 to 18 months. With care one should last twice that long or more doing laundry for one old person. The second one is coming from Walmart with a Walmart 36 month service plan which is only $28 and better than most other extended service plans in many ways and half or more the cost.
My experience with the first tiny Haier automatic washer was very positive. I bought it basically to see what it would do and how good it was and was very impressed. Great wash ation for a non agitator machine and even the spin speed was quite adequate. The clear plastic lid is a kick as one can watch what goes on as it operates. A 6.6 pound maximum load is not much and to make the machine last a long time it is probably nearer to 4 pounds. But compared to a low cost twin tub machine, the fully automatic Haier is a little marvel.
