I like the bf goodrichs ok, but they vibrate a tad too much.. The tire i got was diffrent than i thought and is baised off the traction h/v.. Still not a bad tire though

If the BFG's are vibrating, I'd take them back in and ask the store to re-balance them. Or maybe they didn't torque the lug nuts properly. Also check all the tire pressures. Tire shops are notorious for putting in waaay too much air when they install new tires.

It can't hurt--better you should do that, then get caught out on ice or something, especially if you're not totally used to the car yet...

I DO hate surprises (not to mention snowdrifts)....

I dunno.. I bought the car with 31,950 miles... To date it has 33,530 miles.. So i have been driving it some :) Yea i will get it checked in the am

Michelin Hydroedge

I recently put a set of Michelin Hydroedge tires on my 1987 Volvo 240 following a suspension rebuild. I couldn't be happier with them. They are quiet, fuel economy is undamaged, they are wearing well, and the car now handles like its on rails. With suspension brought back to factory specs and good tires, my 20 year old Volvo handles as well as my 2002 Saab 9-3. (Yes, I do prefer driving the Volvo.) The Volvo, like your toyota, takes a relitively small tire by today's standards, in my case a 185/70 R14. It's hard to find small tires that are any good, but I really like my Michelin Hydroedge set. I know Nokians are good, but the Michelins are a heck of a lot easier to find, and cheaper too.

Best of luck,
Dave
