G7859

this is a full commercial machine : the pump manages 400 (four hundreds) litres per minute ... really a old style DW ;-) Fastest cycle 17 min ( indeed the G8050 has it too)

BTW it costs "just" 500 € more than LaPerla/G2872 ... If I had so much money to throw away 4 a DW I'd go for these rather 4 a new KA badged whirlie ..

GE Tall Tub

When I lived in Florida(Orlando) I had aquired a GE GLD4400C at The Home Depot which retailed for $499 for only $99!!!It had a dented front panel and we had it on sale for clearance at that price for two days. Nobody rsponded so I got it and it was by far the very best dishwasher I had seen and used for decades. It was extreamly quiet but got everything sparkling clean with no residue or missed spots on every load I did and packed the thing full of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, casseroles, silverware, cookie sheets, skillets and coffee mugs.My room mate,Orma, said I was crazy when she saw how jam packed the first load was and almost had a heart attack when the cycle ended. I always used the sani cycle or pots and pans when I set the cycles and Electrosol tablets along with a full dispenser of Jet Dry.NEVER,EVER did any type of pre rinsing.Just scraped off the loose remains from dishes and serving pieces. When I moved to Houston,I got a FRIGIDAIRE Pro Series dishwasher in stainless steel from ebay for $220. It was quiet but had severe issues including replacing the main motor twice.I called and extended the warranty for three more years and it was replaced by a newer model just prior to my move here.A week after my move, the complex I lived in caught on fire and burned to the ground. The upstairs neighbor fell asleep in bed while smoking.

To the guy with the Miele DW!!!

I have a Miele G1022. Can you tell me how I can reprogramme the programmes that are pre set? My only problem with my Mile is that the final rinse water is a little cloudy. I think all programmes could do with an extra cold rinse before going on to the hot final rinse. If it is at all possible, I'd love to know how to do this.... it would then make my Miele perfect!!!
Please help!!!
Before my Miele I had a slimline Bosch.... Same problem with cloudy water. Personally, I would prefer to add a few more litres of water for an extra rinse to get better results!!

Cloudy water

I have noticed this too on my Bosch - if I use the normal auto programme. I have also noticed a 'dishwasher' smell and taste, on cups and glasses when using the normal programme. This is probably due to insufficient rinsing and low wash temperature being unable to combat grease and oils.

I prefer to use the auto superwash, as it gives the dishes three rinses after a mainwash of somewhere around 60-70°C.

Mine does at least 1 cold and 1 65deg rinse, or 2 cold if it has detected heavy soil in the wash on the normal sensor program.

Pots and Pans has a heated pre-wash, 75deg main wash and 1 cold and 1 65deg rinse. The times Its been a really dirty load, I've counted up to 3 pre-washes.

Everything always comes out smelling neutral with no taste or smell.
