Help Support :

But Next Week.......

this is coming home with me. It was just being unloaded as I was leaving. Rege didn't even get to see it yet. A big thank you goes out to this fine man who has his people put these treasures aside for me. It's a Maytag A502S:

The WDR-64 Frigidaire, and the Maytag A502S are my type of machines, they both have suds-savers. Thanks for saving them.

I have to agree with Greg. That is a case of someone having compassion for your/our likes and to be on the watch. I do have a freind here who does estate sales and watches for me.

Very cool machines Rich!

Hey Rich,

Beautiful finds. I especially love that Frigidaire. Interesting how the Deluxe model has those upscale features like the offset main control knob and a control panel light.
Keep up the good work !!!

Jim

I've never seen anything quite like the console on that Kenmore... What vintage would that be? I'm guessing mid-'60s.

Rich ... WOW; what a great haul!! :-) You've got an A700 like mine and the A502 is the machine I remember from growing up!! We had the "S" feature (suds saver) but that's the same machine. I think it was referred to as the "Super" Highlander.

I also love the Frigidaire styling and the control panel on the Kenmore is awesome!!!

I'd say you did pretty good!!

Interior shots? :-)

Snazzy Frigidaire!

Rich, is are those diagonal stripes actually printed on the control panel chrome, or is that something the camera did? That makes for a neat effect!

Gorgeous machines!!

Kenmore.

I think that is a 1970 model Kenmore. Never saw one in person, but those models were on television. They were featured in Knots Landing, in the laundry room off of Karen Fairgate MacKenzie's (Michele Lee) kitchen.

Have a good one,
James
