Today's POD "Find your automatic washer on this page"

I found today's POD interesting. I've never heard of 5 of the brands listed.
"One Minute", "Barton", "Marquette", "Zenith", and "Ambassador"
Who has some info on these and has anyone seen one or even have one? Curious minds just like to know things like this

What I found even more interesting than the unfamiliar brands was one well-known brand that was missing.  Why was General Electric not included?

Most of those brands your reference were probably Beam-built machines, except Zenith I think may have been Apex manufactured.

No Frigidaire either

The Zenith was Apex built, agitator version like Montgomery Wards at the time as well. GE did do Tide endorsements, so who knows? Perhaps they opted out of this ad. Frigidaire (GM) didn't endorse any product advertising until much later.
